but it can become bliss if adolescents are not correctly educated about it.

extra marital relations,cheating with spouse etc are side effects of emotions,
sex is one part of it which makes it more henious crime.
Sex can spread many diseases,including fatal one
if it is unsafe,improper,unhealthy,and If you're visiting wrong places
...where people are ignorant about safety/hygiene!!
.....You can be "Branded" as wrong as well!!!
its good if person is famous or popular and has a big fanfare,
line of fans(not mentioning OM SHANTI OM)
or bheed of them infront of your home,
where ever your gatherings are,
or eligible boys and girls geting many marriage proposals,
if they are popular or a star
....like shown in Tv ads like "Jeevan shathi.com,or Shaadi dot.com...)
or 'Billi ke gale mein ghanti koun bandhe','Soo chuhe khake billi chali haj ko'ads of pied piper and mouses(in kaccha-banyan group context...which is proved how people get ideas by recent names like--aunty gang,and girlfriend gang)
or celebrations of b'day,marriage anniversaries...and playing Antakshari...singing-dancing,mimicking,joking... till 12o'clock...and winning everyone's heart by your talent.
one can juggle lots of work together,but for love life-word juggler is not good(derogetry).
or a joke like 'ek se dooo hue aur abb dus bhi ho saktein hein'.
....well good to have numbers of school/college old friends support to create 'benchmark'.
'aur ek gend ke 2tuokde hue,ek 4gaya,doosra 6,isske dus tukde ho saktein hein'.
I don't need to mention Tv ads like "virgin zara hat ke"
...as we have freedom of expressions in our country!!!
I have worked with a women organization in our neighboured volunteeraily,
who asked me to get my own projects,if I wish,
which I didn't that time but had attended a workshop done by 'Them and CEDPA',
It was on "ADOLESCENT PROBLEMS AND LEADERSHIP IN THEM"....!!!
It had a chapter on sex education,
its about know your body and changes in them during these growing ages,
how to cop-up with its emotional/Psychological/Physical changes and mood swings,
mansurations and stomachaches in girls.
And change in voices etc and harmonal changes in boys also.
It 'needed' inclusion of LGBT's also as they also exists in this planet.
Like with kids, even Parents need to know about their kids growing up pangs,problems,emotional happiness,excitements,infatuations,attractions,
temptations,ambitions,career aspirations and all other aspects.
same as these kids,LGBT'S and their parents need to know about themselves.Infact others need to know that these problems exists and be careful about any wrong or hurt it may causes, but at the same time don't treat them differently...specially to TRANSGENDERS.
Theirs existence is ignored so much in our society that they don't even get regular educations and work or have normal career...forget about other human and fundamental,constitutional rights!!
....they are not acceptable in mainstream society just because they are BY BIRTH DIFFERENT',AND ITS NOT THEIR FAULT...HERE ONE NEED TO SEE THINGS WITH HUMANE ANGLE OR PERSPECTIVE!!!

TODAY I AM GOING TO ATTEND A BOOK LAUNCH ON-
"THE STATE OF THE WORLD'S CHILDREN 2011---ADOLSCENCE-AN AGE OF OPPORTUNITY!!!
...AS I FEEL THESE ADOLSCENTS CAN BECOME A 'BRAND-A DISTINCT PERSONALITY/HAVE THEIR OWN IDENTITY OR PAHCHAAN' IN THEMSELF, IF THEY REALLY WORK HARD CORRECTLY.
Its a flagship publication of UNICEF at 2.pm in the afternoon,if possible,as today is The Railway Budget day.

Social Reformers
India has produced numerous social reformers who have played a significant role in making India a more progressive and forward looking country. These social reformers have fought against several social evils such as Sati, widow remarriage, child marriage, casteism et al. Here is a brief profile of famous Indian social reformers.
Dayanand Saraswati
Dayanand Saraswati was one of the most radical socio-religious reformers in the history of India. Swami Dayanand Saraswati was the founder of Arya Samaj and propagated egalitarian approach of the Vedas at a time when widespread casteism was prevalent in the society.
Raja Ram Mohan Roy
Raja Ram Mohan Roy is known as the 'Maker of Modern India'. He was the founder of the Brahmo Samaj, one of the first Indian socio-religious reform movements. He played a major role in abolishing the role of Sati. Raja Rammohan Roy was a great scholar and an independent thinker.
Ramakrishna Paramhansa
Ramakrishna Paramhansa was one of the foremost Hindu spiritual leaders of the country. His teachings are still deeply revered by the people. He also played a key role in the social reform movement in Bengal in 19th century.
Swami Vivekananda
Swami Vivekananda was one of the most influential spiritual leaders of Vedanta philosophy. He was the chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahansa and was the founder of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. Swami Vivekananda was the living embodiment of sacrifice and dedicated his life to the country and yearned for the progress of the poor, the helpless and the downtrodden.
Vinoba Bhave
Vinobha Bhave’s original name was Vinayak Narahari Bhave. He was born in a Brahmin family on September 11, 1895 at the village of Gagoda in Kolaba district of Maharashtra. He was greatly influenced by his mother Rukmini Devi. Vinoba Bhave was well-read in the writings of Maharashtra's saints and philosophers.
Kiran Bedi
Kiran Bedi is truly an icon of heroism. She was the first Indian woman to join the Indian Police Services. She was born on June 9, 1949 at Amritsar in Punjab. She is one of the most renowned police officers, who have put in their whole hearted effort in serving the society.
Medha Patkar
Medha Patkar is a well known social activist of India. She was born on 1st December in the year 1954. Prior to becoming a social reformer, she completed her M.A. in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).She left Ph. D. in the midst and got actively involved in the agitations conducted by tribals and peasants of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
Shanta Sinha
Shanta Sinha, the Ramon Magsaysay award winner, has recently been appointed for the post of chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights. She is the founder secretary trustee of the Mamidipudi Venkatarangaiya (MV) Foundation, Secunderabad.
Baba Amte
Baba Amte is one of the greatest social reformers India's ever had. He gave his lucrative career as barrister for social service. He was so great a person that he dedicated his entire life to the care and rehabilitation of leprosy patients.
Jyotiba Phule
Jyotirao Govindrao Phule, who was a prominent activist, thinker and social reformer from the Indian state of Maharashtra during the 19th century, was also famous by the name of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule. During his time, he tried bringing in positive renovations in the spheres of education, agriculture, caste system, social position of women et al.
Shahu Chhatrapati
Shahu Chhatrapati was the Maharaja or the king of the Indian princely state of Kolhapur. Also known by the name of Rajarshi Shahu, he was known to be a great social reformer of his time. Shahu Chhatrapati was born on 26 June in the year 1874 as Yeshwantrao Ghatge.

Octogenarian Shobhana Ranade epitomises a life with a mission. Ranade, who is 86 years old now, has done master’s in sociology from the University of Pune and has dedicated her life to women empowerment and child welfare. Ranade was a volunteer during the Quit India Movement of 1942 and assisted in setting up the Gandhi National Memorial Society, a national training institute for women, at the Aga Khan Palace in the city in 1979. She has to her credit a school for tribals in Digboi, Assam. Moreover, she launched Shishu Niketan, the first child welfare centre in an Assam village. Through her Adim Jaati Seva Sangh, Naga tribal women were given training in weaving and spinning the charkha. Mahatma Gandhi, Vinoba Bhave and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar have inspired her to serve the country. She spoke to DNA after being selected for the Padma Bhushan this year for her stupendous social work.
How did you feel on being selected for this prestigious award?
I received a call just a day before Republic Day around 4 pm when I was watching television. It was from Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi informing me about the award. I was pleasantly surprised and said I would accept the honour with humility. I am happy that my work has been recognised. The award will encourage me to continue my work. I immediately informed my daughter and we both hugged each other.
What prompted you to get involved in social work?
Savarkar was famous in our school days and his talks inspired me to do something concrete for our country. I worked with Acharya Vinoba Bhave in Assam for 17 years. He was an institution in himself and advised me to keep working, saying one gets born as a human being to serve others. From him, I learnt the virtue of acquiring full knowledge of the field in which one works, apart from the qualities of devotion and humility. I hope I succeed in inculcating these traits in others. He used to call me Shobhaniya. Later, I was influenced by Mahatma Gandhi. He used to say nirbhay bano (be fearless); this is what I have been following throughout my life.
I wish to continue propagating Gandhi’s philosophy, especially among the youth as I believe we have to go back to Gandhian principles in the current situation.
Is Gandhi’s philosophy relevant to the youth today?
The youth are aware about Mahatma Gandhi and his pioneering work for the country. When I interact with youngsters at different sessions and camps, they are keen to know about Gandhi’s philosophy and work. Many of them follow his philosophy in their lives.
If the youth of the country want to progress, they have to adopt Gandhi’s philosophy that teaches us to follow the path of non-violence and humanity. This philosophy will bring peace and make the world a better place to live in.
Tell us something about your future plans.
I plan to work even more. I have been working with the National Gandhi Memorial Society in Aga Khan Palace in Yerwada. I want more youngsters to become a part of this society. I am also setting up an old age home for women in Saswad. I will continue to work to change society and its values, so that women and children can obtain their rightful place in our society.

In the long years of India’s independence struggle, Mahatma Gandhi would often hold out the utopia of Ram Rajya (governance of Lord Ram) to cheer up a country weighed down by the tyranny of the colonial rule. Of course, the Mahatma did not invoke Ram in the strictest religious sense or subscribed to the saffron-tinted worldview of today’s Hindu right.
What he really meant was an India where honesty, simplicity and piety ruled. For weeks now the Indians – and others around the world – have endlessly listened in morbid fascination to the tapes that have British Indian corporate lobbyist Niira Radia strategising in her varying accent with the bold and beautiful of Indian media to help her clients that include the mightiest of corporate giants, like the Ambani brothers, to the Tatas to the most corrupt politicians in the land. And up for grabs are not just the whopping telecom deals worth Rs1.76 trillion but plump federal cabinet portfolios that would dole out those very deals for a song.
It’s amazing, and incredibly sobering, to see – or hear, rather – fellow journalists play the kingmakers or even God as they promise the mysterious Lady Radia to tell the Congress leadership to pick up a certain A Raja for the telecom minister’s job, the magician from Madras who made the exchequer considerably lighter with his sleight of hand. And all these years you thought selecting his ministers was the prerogative of the prime minister! Another eminent journalist, an editor of India’s first newsmagazine belonging to a powerful media group, is found offering lessons to the nation’s richest man in fixing a court verdict.
Yet our fellow travellers remain charmingly blase. My feisty friend Barkha Dutt of NDTV, who has inspired generations of young Indians to take to journalism with her world-class reporting and news presentation, is enviously indignant when quizzed by senior editors on her acting as a messenger and go-between to lobby for the already discredited Raja.
“It was an error of judgment,” she concedes magnanimously, but insists: “I did nothing wrong and I will not apologise.” As though it was a minor matter of interpretation and semantics.
Maybe I am a bit thick, but isn’t it unethical for journalists to lobby for ministerial berths or other favours, even if they haven’t landed themselves a slice of the pie? Who has given this right to Barkha Dutt, Vir Sanghvi, Prabhu Chawla and many others figuring in the so-called Radia tapes? Certainly not the voters? The media is supposed to be the fourth estate in a democracy. It is supposed to guard over and protect people’s interests. Since when has it become a pimp to politicians? Since when has it started become more than a messenger?
And those who have been given the right to run this country by the people, they appear to be increasingly abdicating and surrendering this responsibility to all sorts of power brokers, lobbyists and corporate players.
What was Dr Manmohan Singh, long lionised and celebrated by the media and growing middle classes as the greatest hope of a new, liberalised India, doing – for God’s sake! – when Raja had been running the biggest financial scam since Independence?
Everyone in and outside the governing Congress sings hosannas of the good doctor and his fabled honesty and sincerity. But is honesty and sincerity enough to run a clean and honest government? The road to hell is paved with good intentions. It’s one of those ironies of fate that over the past seven years India’s cleanest premier has presided over the biggest scams in the nation’s history.
But all said and done, perhaps it’s unfair to single out the politicians and journalists for censure and our collective outrage. In this Turkish hammam (bath), just about everyone is gloriously naked, if we only care to look around. Besides, we get the politicians and journalists we deserve. They represent and are part of the society they live in. We have become a republic of scams, as Brahma Chellaney puts it. Corruption is all pervasive and eating into India’s vitals like a cancer.
Even the once sacred judiciary and armed forces haven’t remained unaffected. In the new, post-Liberalisation, pro-market India of the new millennium, money rules and Mammon is the new deity. The phenomenal economic growth of the past few years, unaffected even by the global recession, has only fuelled this feeding frenzy.
There’s money everywhere, more than India and Indians have ever seen. Yet, we are far from content. Those who are rich are in an endless race to get even richer in the shortest possible time. In the process, they care not who is trampled under their feet.
Meanwhile, the less privileged are trying hard to fast catch up as they drool over the glitz and glamour of the rich and famous beamed into their homes from around the global village. Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati? (Who Wants to be a Millionaire?) generating hopes and launching a billion dreams is an apt metaphor for this new get-rich-quick India. It matters not how you get there. What matters is how fast you can come up with the answer that could unlock that door to El Dorado – pot of gold, smart home, a posh school, snazzy, Japanese cars and a foreign holiday.
In a culture that literally worships money – no businessman begins his day without offering elaborate tributes to Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth – affluence is always associated with respectability. It’s even more so in the 21st-century India where the rich and successful money-makers like the Ambanis and Tatas have emerged as the ultimate role models.
It’s very touching to see Ratan Tata get all worked up over the new culture of crony capitalism in a country that increasingly, according to him, looks and acts like a banana republic. But aren’t people like him now being ripped apart in the Radia tapes (he has approached the Supreme Court to protect his privacy right) part of this crony capitalism culture?
Gandhi and his noble philosophy of simple living and high thinking sound like a nice topic for a drawing room debate. They do not belong in today’s India, though. The Mahatma has become hopelessly anachronistic and obsolete in the land that calls him Father of the Nation.

Of course, the Mahatma did not invoke Ram in the strictest religious sense or subscribed to the saffron-tinted worldview of today’s Hindu right.

The world’s Muslim population is expected to grow at twice the rate of the non-Muslim population over the next two decades, according to a new study by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.
Researchers at the forum predict an annual growth rate of 1.5% for Muslims, compared with 0.7% for non-Muslims over the next 20 years. According to study, ‘The Future of the Global Muslim Population’ study, the number of Muslims will increase from 1.6 billion, or 23.4%, of the world population today to 2.2 billion, or 26.4%, by 2030.
The study anticipates that the majority of the Muslim population – around 60% - will continue to live in the Asia-Pacific region, although the increasingly radical Pakistan is expected to surpass Indonesia as the country with the single largest Muslim population. In Europe and the US, Muslims will remain a minority but constitute a growing share of the total population, with the number of Muslims passing the 10% mark in several European countries. The number of Muslims in the US is expected to more than double from 2.6 million, or 0.8%, of the total population in 2010 to 6.2 million, or 1.7%, in 2030 – making them roughly the same in size as the US’s current Jewish or Episcopalian communities and more numerous than in any European state except Russia and France.
Muslims in Europe are expected to grow by nearly a third in the next two decades, from 6% of the region’s population to 8% in 2030. In the UK, the number of Muslims will rise from 4.6% of the population to 8.2%, while in France, the number of Muslims will rise from 7.5% today to 10.3%.

Muslims worldwide have a higher fertility rate than non-Muslims and improved health and economic conditions in Muslim-majority countries have led to a decrease in child mortality rates. The forum noted that the projections could change according to changes in immigration laws, economic conditions, natural disasters and other factors. “Changes in the political climate in the United States or European nations, for example could dramatically affect the patters of Muslim migration,” the forum said.

LATER ON I AND SUDHIRJI WERE INVITED AT PM'S RESIDENCE FOR TEA,AGAIN I HAD WRITTEN 'OFF THE RECORD TALK,WITH VERBAL PERMISSION IN NEWSPAPER'S FEATURE PAGE,(EVEN SUDHIRJI HAD WRITTEN IT FOR HT),WHICH HAD SOME ADDED PORTION OF ALREADY PUBLISHED EXCERPTS IN A PAPER AND THEN IN A BOOK...AND ITS EXCERPTS WAS PUBLISHED IN UMAANG PAGE OF RASHTRIA SAHARA NEWSPAPER!!!....WHICH WAS PUBLISHED AFTER I HAD READ THE PROOF,BUT IT HAS OFFENDED PMO THEN,BUT AGAIN ON 15TH AUGUST,AFTER KBC STARTED IN JUNE,PM SAHEB ANNOUNCED THAT 'HUM AATI MAHATVKANKSHI BAHEN KA SAHYOG KARENGE,WHICH WAS CORRECTED BY SHRI ADVANIJI IN NEXT PUBLIC MEETING,SAYING,-'SABHI BAHNON KA SAHYOG KARENGE....!!!
I THINK IT WAS FOR 'OWN IDENTITY,SAMRIDHI AND CHANCES'!!!
