I HAVE VISITED RANCHI,BODH GAYA AND PATNA RECENTLY AND IN TO AND FRO JOURNEY I JUST TRIED TO FEEL,AND SEE WAVES OF REACTIONS AND EXPRESSIONS.....HOW PEOPLE 'REACTS OR BEHAVE',WHEN 'WORST' IS IN 'AIR'.....I AM SURE 'RESULT' WILL BE NICER IN FUTURE WHEN WE'LL DISCUSS 'BEST THINGS' OF WORLD AROUND.BUT CAN WE??...IF 'MISERY,PAIN,POVERTY...IS SO EVEIDENT NOT ONLY IN MOVIES LIKE'SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE' OR 'SALAM MUMBAI'....BUT IN REALITY???.....WELL,LET'S SEE.I DON'T COMPARE MYSELF WITH 'SIDHARTHA WHO TURNED 'GAUTAM BUDDHA' AFTER SEE SICK,OLD AND DEAD PEOPLE.HE THOUGHT AFTER ALL WHY PEOPLE FELL SICK,WHY THEY GET OLD,WHY THEY DIE??.....DAYANAAND SARASWATI STARTED 'ARYA SAMAJ'...WHEN AS A KID HE WENT TO SHIV TEMPLE ON SHIVRATRI AND SAW A MOUSE EATING LADOOO KEPT ON SHIVLING AS A OFFERING.HE THOUGHT THIS STONE MURTI CAN'T ABLE TO PROTECT SELF,HOW CAN THEY WILL HELP OTHERS.RAJARAM MOHAN RAI REACTED,OPPOSED AND HELPED HIS YOUNG BHABHI NOT GETTING BURNT AS 'SATI' AS HE WAS AGAINST IT.....AND SO HIS JOURNEY AS A '"REFORMIST" STARTED.THERE ARE MANY MORE SUCH INCEDENTS WHICH REFLECTS THE EXAMPLE OF JOURNEY OF PERSON'S LIFE WHICH HE HIMSELF/HERSELF NEVER PREDICTED BEFORE.....I THINK LESSER MORTAL LIKE ME ALSO HAS SOMETHING LIKE THIS ......HIDDEN IN FUTURE ....TO DO....TILL WHAT EXTENT AND WHAT LEVEL I CAN'T SAY....BUT I DO BELIEVE GOD HAS CHOSEN ME TO SERVE HUMANITY AND CERTAINLY I'LL FIND WAYS TO DO SO!!.....SOME DAY I MAY FIND ENLIGHTENMAINT AND CONTENTMENT IN MY LIFE....LIKE ANY OTHER REFORMIST...I CAN'T SAY, BUT YES AS A NICE HUMAN BEING....BUT THAT WILL BE THE DAY WHEN I FEEL,I HELPED IN REDUCING PAIN OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE REALLY SUFFERING AROUND ME OR TILL WHOM I CAN REACH!!!

और अब कब तक सहेंगे ...??
आत्तंक के साये में अब और न जियेंगे !!
यह शुरुआत है एक जंग, हर गलत के खिलाफ
जो हाथ मारने को उठे निर्दोष को, वह रोक दिए जायेंगे !!
आतंक मन पर हो या तन पर
अब और ना सहे जायेंगे, अब और ना सहे जायें.
हमारी मान्शक्ति, भारी पड़ेगी उन् सब हथियारों पर
यह आनेवाले हर दिन में, हम साबित कर बतायेंगे
हम सिर्फ बातों के धनी, कागज़ के शेर नहीं
हम अब और ना सहेंगे,
आवाज़ रोज़ उठाएंगे और इससे साबित कर बतायेंगे !!!
कि पार्लिआमेंट हो या देश का कोई हिस्सा,
अब हम आतंक के काले साये को मन पर भी नहीं छाने देंगे !!!
हम तैयार हैं किसी जाँच परख के लिए
पर अब और कब तक सहेंगे ...अब और कब तक सहेंगे ???
भारत, पाकिस्तान, अफगानिस्तान, चीन, अमेरिका ...जो भी हो
जवाब चाहिए....????
अब हम आतंक के साये में और ना जियेंगे
और ना जियेंगे !!!
यह है शपथ ! यह है शपथ !
मुंबई के शहीदों को याद कर उन सबको श्रधांजलि
जो जो इंनके शिकार हुए, और हमारे लिए लड़ कर शहीद हुए !!!

Social Constructions of Religiosity and Corruption

Religion coexists with what may be described as a liberalised, cosmopolitan and global outlook among Indians and remains an indispensable part of the cultural ethos and social fabric of Indian society. However, interpretations of both religion and corruption are extremely diverse. Notwithstanding the existence of deep-seated faith with strong moral values, religion is not seen as contributing to the moral or spiritual fabric of the nation in present times, while corruption is regarded as pervasive. Very few of the respondents canvassed in this study thought that we should count on religion to make a difference in people’s general attitudes towards corruption. Respondents indicated that their confidence in the accountability of religious organisations is low, and it is therefore problematic to assume that religious organisations are likely to be either appropriate or effective vehicles for fighting corruption. In fact, religion is looked upon as a discredited entity by many, largely due to a sense of popular disillusionment with its “caretakers”.
