EQUALITY

Equality, in a social sense, may be divided into that of condition and that of rights. Equality of condition is incompatible with civilization, and is found only to exist in those communities that are but slightly removed from the savage state. In practice, it can only mean a common misery.

James Fenimore Cooper (1789-1851)

A bone to the dog is not charity.
Charity is the bone shared with the dog,
when you are just as hungry as the dog.

Anyone who knows anything of history knows that great social changes are impossible without feminine upheaval.

Social progress can be measured exactly by the social position of the fair sex, the ugly ones included.

I define DHARMA as a kartavya for and aastha in any thing.

If you believe in a stone and start doing seva as vaishnav's do to krishna's murti, you start feeling the emotions for that piece of stone or murti, which we describe as a pranpratishtha...this is what make us Insaan instead of robot. Only this Aastha, Prem,Karuna, sneh bhav..can make world free from hatred, jealously, bloodbath...

When older adults participate in strength training programs,
their self-confidence and self-esteem improve,
which has a strong impact on their overall quality of life.
Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live,
it is asking others to live as one wishes to live

(....but one need to understand the difference between self imposed discipline and dictatorship....Vibha Tailang)
